Beit Eli was founded to serve as a warm and supportive home for Lone Soldiers, providing them with both a safe environment and a caring community. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure that every Lone Soldier knows they are not alone.

Who Is a Lone Soldier?

A Lone Soldier is someone serving in the IDF without close family support in Israel. This may include:

• Soldiers whose parents have passed away.
• Young men and women who left home at an early age.
• New immigrants who made Aliyah and live far from their families.

These soldiers face unique challenges: lack of a family home, financial struggles, and often a deep sense of loneliness.

While the State of Israel provides certain benefits – mostly financial – these are rarely enough to address the full scope of the hardships. That’s where Beit Eli steps in, offering not only material assistance but also emotional and social support.

Housing Solutions

At Beit Eli, we are proud to offer Lone Soldiers comfortable, fully furnished housing in central Israel.

But Beit Eli is more than just a place to sleep. Here, soldiers find:

• Hot, home-cooked meals
• A true family atmosphere
• Emotional support and personal guidance
• A supportive community and sense of belonging

Our mission is to ensure that no Lone Soldier ever feels truly “alone.” With a secure place to live and a supportive family environment, they can focus on their service and draw strength for the challenges ahead.

Enriching Free-Time Activities

Providing food and housing is important – but it’s not enough. At Beit Eli, we also invest in the soldiers’ well-being and quality of life.

We organize bonfire gatherings, musical evenings, and community events that bring soldiers together for moments of joy, laughter, and friendship. Around the fire, with music, food, and conversation, Lone Soldiers discover that they are part of something bigger – a family and a community that embraces them.

These activities are part of a broader effort by Beit Eli to support soldiers throughout their service with encouragement, companionship, and meaningful experiences.
